Hi, I’m Kiera! I was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, but grew up as a military kid, which means I’ve lived all over—from Nebraska and Kansas to Alabama, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and now Texas. I joined the Army Reserves at just 17, attending basic training between my junior and senior year of high school, and was one of the youngest in my unit. While serving part-time, I also worked in the medical field and now have over nine years of hands-on experience. I’m a lifelong crafter with a love for painting, creating, and dreaming up thoughtful, handmade gifts—gifting is definitely my love language. I’m always coming up with new project ideas (sometimes faster than I can finish them!), and as a very visual thinker, I can look at one random item and instantly dream up 30 things to make with it. I love reading, exploring new places, arcades, and occasionally getting lost in the kitchen baking way too many sweets. I’m super family-oriented—even though military life keeps us far from home—and while I might be shy at first, I’ve got a kind heart and a silly personality once I warm up. Oh, and I absolutely love animals. I’m that one person who will get on the ground to play with your dog or cat before even holding a full conversation with you—socially awkward, sorry in advance!
